Anyone have a cross reference for the early A/C accumulator no longer available? It must have come from another car??????
In desperate need for a concours car so it needs to be original in appearance.

The original drier was a late 70's Corvette part. The replacement part you buy today from Vette suppliers is not identical...I bought one to compare to the original one still on my car. I don't think the actual identical part is available, you'd have to find it.

I still have my original one somewhere, and it probably still even works. I did an r134a conversion earlier this year. But it's the early style with no high pressure pop off valve. Might not be correct for a later car. If that's the kind you're after, shoot me a PM...

If you still have the old one there are places that can cut it open, replace the desiccant, and weld it closed. Will look original but it is not cheap. Call Classic Air in FL. Check with the Delorean venders. Many times they hold a few scarce pieces aside for owners that want to maintain the original look but expect that to be pricey too. Like Purfux oil filters, there are still a few left but you have to ask for them and expect to pay more than a Fram!
