Funny enough, a friend of mine refers to this kind of guy as an "oxygen thief" cause that's all he's really doing while inhabiting the planet with the rest of us.

Maybe DeLorean owners should bring hyperbaric (sp?) chambers with them to car shows.

"Hey, is that the one with the V8 in it? Why'd you put the engine in the back? How's the aluminum body holding up after 50 years?"
"Sir, please step into this oxygen bath. All your questions will be answered."

I miss Tower Records so much... I guess the writing was on the wall for Tower when the Virgin MegaStore opened up down the street, but then Katrina came and wiped them BOTH away! :'( Memories...

Duh of course time travel with the D is possible!!

I use the term record store a little liberally here. Sorry to disappoint but it's called the Sound Garden (in Syracuse, NY) and they buy/sell new and used CDs, vinyl and DVDs. You didn't think I live in NYC, now did ya?

So now I get to add to this wonderful thread. I've let friends on Facebook know about the DeLorean I'm getting this week with some pics of it.
Number 1 question (numerous times): Are you getting it with a Mr. Fusion?

Of course I had to respond that a Mr. Fusion is of no value without a Flux Capacitor. No one seemed to get that.

Not a single Flux Capacitor joke yet.

Congrats on your new purchase. You don't have to worry! There are many Flux Capacitor jokes in your future!

The Flux Capacitor jokes never have gotten to me. What I can't stand are the "know it all" types. The people that will come up to you and tell you what a piece of crap you own, or how slow it is, or how their brother's bosses sister's husband bought a new one for $15,000. It's a good thing I don't value other peoples opinion and bought the car for ME to enjoy.
