Me: Eddie, I can't wait to get the car back when you're done with it.
Eddie: Yeah, you'll be able to give the car gas, and it won't be - like - embarrassing....
If I had a dollar for every time I've been in a rollover accident...... gah! so annoying!

The side window is probably a better choice, as discussed here. Windshield's tempered and at a steep angle, whereas the side glass can be easily shattered.
This is getting frustrating ...........
"So did you build it?"
"What do you mean?"
"It's a kit car right?"
*thinking of slapping the questioner*
"No, it's manufactured in a factory. Doc Brown built his into a time machine, you must be confused."
A few have asked if it was a kit car now. Piss me off!! And it's not BTTF related either!

I honestly want to see a "kit car" Delorean just to know what these asshats are talking about. Ive looked before and couldn't find any pics of a "kit" DMC.
If I remember correctly, Doc Brown's second DeLorean could fold up into a suitcase - but still doesn't make it 'kit'...

What is probably happening is people are hearing about DMCH's cars and how they "tear down and piece together" a brand new DeLorean and translate that as "kit car."
When people do that with me, I just state there are no "kit cars", and when someone is bold enough to try me I explain the differences between a kit car, refurbished, and new build DeLoreans. Most of the time, people realize their mistake and drop it.
