What's more authoritative than the vin plate?
Is everybody supposed to put their car on a weighbridge before going to the DMV?

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

Today, I was working inside the car with the battery disconnected, so I had my lantern on the rear parcel shelf illuminating my work area. A girl came by to chat. She must have seen the lantern inside the car, because she said "I can see your flux capacitor." So I checked my zipper. She laughed.

I had that same problem in Hawaii. I had even brought in a Road and Track from 1981 saying what the weight was. She said it wouldn't work. So I had to take it to a big rig weigh in area to weigh the car. It was 12 pounds different from the Road and track article. After I brought back the paperwork stating the weight I asked her if she would like to log in the weight on the computer so the next poor sucker who has a Delorean doesn't have to go through what I did. She just shrugged and said no. Good ole Government in action.

We work jobs we hate, to buy shit we don't need, to impress people we don't even like.
The girl at the Burger King drive thru just said "Your car looks like the bat-mobile". Aside from having 4 wheels, I don't see the resemblance, but ok.
