IT'S A TRAP!!!!!
Does anybody on the board own that car?
The first thing I thought when I saw the picture was how they must have spent hundreds (if not thousands) of hours polishing the stainless only to leave the wheels flaking paint and curb rashed.
I think for a complete look the car would need chromed wheels. Also, with modern advances in technology companies can chrome finish plastic parts. They should do the front and rear fascias so it's completely mirror finished.
Otherwise it just looks really odd.

Could be a work-in-progress. Wheels and fascias are probably pretty easy in comparison to the work done thus far.
This finish seems like it would be pretty dangerous, since it would make the car hard to see during the day, and blindingly reflective at night. Still, it looks freakin' awesome.
i've seen a picture of a polished DeLorean before, and as I recall that was photoshopped.

That has to be a bitch to drive on a sunny day. But I like it.

Q: How do you make a small fortune restoring a DeLorean?
A: Start out with a large fortune!

There have been a few DCS pics from years past with the polished D.

I don't know if it was that one, but I saw a polished D in person at DCS 2008.

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"
