    Special-T Hervey Axxis Brake Pads

Installed last March. Have put roughly 2,000 miles on them. Not a squeal or squeak out of them. Put new rotors on with install of these pads. So far so good.

+1, I installed these a few weeks ago and they are nice and quiet.

John sells Axxis "performance organic" and "ceramic" - to which you are both referring? I'm curious because we stopped selling any organic ones a long time ago and now only sell ceramic.

I'm 99% sure the ones he sent me were his 'organic' ones. I threw out the box but remember it being blue, and on his site that's the organic one.

Yes, mine were in the blue box too. So I guess they were the organic.

Organic pads are great for brake rotor life, however they typically suck for the purposes of stopping the car. They heat up fast, don't work well, easily glaze and they wear fast.

You want Asbestos pads. If you can't fine those, Semi-metalic or ceramic will do.

Im running his axxis ceremic pads on my car. rebuilt my whole brake system inc the ss braided lines. they stop alot better, low dust, and no squealing.
