    An Open Thank You

I just wanted to let the community know that Demot (Dangermouse) has agreed to have the Texas DeLorean Club’s maintenance of the DeLorean Registry include his list of museum cars. Dermot has been collecting museum car information for some time, tracking around 70 cars that are, or have been, in museums around the world.

And as you probably already know, I have been gathering information about all DeLoreans for several years now, including latest location, conversions, paint, engine modifications, and anything else that may make them individually unique. This “Registry” information is adjunct to the Chronology that Shannon keeps, and is separate from the DeLorean Owners Directory (DOD), which is maintained by the owners themselves.

So I wanted to offer a big thank you to Dermot first for collecting this information, which he will still do, and second for allowing it to be included in the Registry. It is people like him, who exemplify the spirit of shared information, that make the DeLorean community one that I am proud to be a part of.

    Thanks Dermot!

    Thomas

    Another museum car found

    Hey Dermot, James, Shannon,

I got an email from the curator of the California Automobile Museum in Sacramento, after my inquiry as to what VIN they had on display there. She sought permission to release the VIN only (no name) to me for inclusion in the museum list.

It is VIN 6255. I've already update the online list.

Here is the link to the museum: www.calautomuseum.org
