I got an interesting email back from the owner of the Bewley City Garage Car Museum in Greeneville TN

The sister of John Delorean's first wife lives in Greeneville. She has given us the two leather chairs from his home office, one of his golf trophies, and several newspaper articles and photos of his first marriage. The chairs were custom designed for his 6'4" frame with leather he obtained from Packard when he left the company.

Also the Delorean mileage is only 726.

His first wife was Elizabeth Higgins, per wiki, and I think he worked at Packard from 1953-1956.

There is a DeLorean among these other fine cars in a Ferrari dealer's (and apparently a former Oregon DeLorean dealer) private collection. See if you can spot it!

Sweet Jesus, there is a Ferrari 288 GTO in that collection. I think I've seen a different pic of this collection prior. I get excited every time I see a 288 GTO.

Had a chance to stop by the Tampa Bay Automobile Museum this afternoon before heading to the airport. Saw Vin # 10543 there along with some really interesting and unique cars. The folks there were very accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful.

I remember seeing a Delorean in the Canadian Automotive Museum in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada while visiting a few years back. The website is: http://www.canadianautomotivemuseum.com. I see in the "About" page that it is a 1983.

    Some interesting updates recently

The above car is 17119, appropriately enough, a Canadian car

The car in the Toyota Museum in Tokyo is 17147, also a Canadian version with the metric instrument cluster. Some follow-up questions here. It was donated by a Japanese stainless steel supplier

    17147-1 Tokyo.jpg

The car in the Zeithaus Museum in Wolfsburg, Germany is owned by VW is a 1982 car – 10345 – see below with the 1982 tag. However, I was able to point out to them that the tag on the rear fascia was actually 1981. It's in their "history of manufacturing techniques" section, if you are passing through.

The car in Tallahassee FL, is 20015, one of the last cars made and the only 20xxx car on display anywhere in the world, that I know of.
