Found this underneath the upper trim panel on my passenger door, which was replaced with a NOS one back in '82 or '83.

A sideways sharpied "B". I have no idea what it means. I thought it may have been like a "Side B" kind of thing, but considering when it was made, who at the factory couldn't tell the doors apart? Seems to be the same handwriting as under the headliner (in Post #70)

They cut it to knock the roof back into place and then welded it together....
