    Stain on Stainless Steel

I recently acquired a nice condition grooved hood, but it has a slight discoloration on part of it. I saw online that you can use baking soda and dish soap to take off stains on stainless steel. Also someone suggested vinegar.

Just wondering what others on the board have used.

Most stains will come off with just a mild rubbing with a blending pad. You have to be careful what you do because anything you use that is strong enough to affect the original stain may make another stain. Also you may discolor the spot and have to do the whole hood to make it look even.
