    American Pickers find a Delorean

Just saw an commercial for the next episode of American Pickers on Monday 2/20 9:00 PM "When Horses Fly". They show a Delorean. This could be fun watching they showed a bid of 11,000 and the owner said 15,000.

Here's a couple of quotes from the commercial
Where Mike and Frank they don't need roads
    Bam! there's a delorean

There was no other information online that I could find.
    Thanks,
    Lenny

Holy crap, I have actually been waiting for this to happen. That show is really cool and I knew sooner or later they'd turn up a D. I can't wait.

I think you mean sooner or later the writers would script in a Delorean for them to find.

Well that's a given, of course. But hey, it's TV. Gotta keep it fresh somehow. They can only buy so many rusty bike frames and oil cans before people lose interest.

That'll go great with their $50 (or was it $60) valued sales brochure.

So they could either convince the world that the DeLorean is extremely valuable or that it's a pile of garbage. Wonder how they'll determine a price. They always act like they're experts on everything. Think one of them will all of a sudden be a Delorean expert?

I hope they add realism to the prices. On the commercial the owner said 15K and they said 11K I'd like for the Owner to start at 25K and the car not be that good and they tell him he is overpriced. That way people who have these cars and think they are worth a fortune might see the light.
    Thanks,
    Lenny

Don't they have "experts" that you see them call once it a while? It would be interesting if they call me/James/Stephen etc and ask what a mouse-eaten barn find car is worth. .. .

    (hint - it's not $11,000 OR $15,000)

That would be pretty cool if they talked to an actual DeLorean vendor.

Chances are they'll call, "this guy I know who owns a mechanic shop," kind of like Pawn Stars did. If its anything like the Pawn Stars episode with the DeLorean, they'll probably just REALLY try to low ball the guy.
