Officially 40% sold out for the event, with 93 days until registration cutoff - we do expect a sellout again this year for the event.

Many of you know the story of DeLorean owner Kyle Franklin and his wife Amanda who made up "Franklin's Flying Circus" and were in a tragic accident during a performance earlier this year. Amanda was severely injured and spent 76 days in intensive care before she passed away.

At each Open House event, we've held a raffle to benefit a particular cause, and this year we felt the "Kyle and Amanda Franklin Fund" would be the best beneficiary. In addition to a raffle, we will also have a silent and live auction.

I just today received signed copies of Stainless Steel Illusion, Hard Driving, Grand Delusions, and On a Clear Day You Can See General Motors. These and other items will part of the event - I hope those of you that are coming will help support one of our own through this unique opportunity.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Regards,

    James Espey
    DeLorean Motor Company

This sounds like a fun event. I wish I could make it, but I'll be starting a new job and I dont think they'll appreciate me taking time off so soon!

Very cool, the mysterious Children's books John wrote near the end of his life. I recall John's widow Sally telling me about these books a few times. That should be a fun addition to the Open House.

In addition to his biography, did you know John DeLorean wrote another book? This book will be making it's debut at the DMC Open House event, too!

I thought I mentioned it earlier, but perhaps not - ALL PAID, REGISTERED ATTENDEES to the DMCH Open House event are automatically granted the 10% discount that is part of the "Budget Restoration Program" for 12 months from the date of the event. This discount can easily cover your registration costs for the event!

Just Register for my wife and me. If we bring our Delorean, can we start restoration while we are there?

Shoot. I might have registered for it had I known that. Anyway, how about those binnacles? Will any be sold at the event?

At minimum, we'll have production-ready samples of the black and grey binnacles. Not sure if we'll be ready to call them "done" and have 1000 of them made yet.
