    Engineering Change Request

I'm currently volunteering for The DeLorean Museum in their effort to catalog the engineering change/release requests. I've come accross some mundane requests and some interesting ones too, at least to me anyway. I asked the group if I could post any releases that struck me as, well, interesting. The hard working group at The DeLorean Museum granted me permission to post some releases provided I put them here in the historical document section, pretty fitting if you ask me. So here is the first EC that I'll post about. It's a request to modify the catalytic exhaust pipe for better fitment. I don't know why this one struck me as interesting but it did, for some reason I just thought it was a cool release:

    Engineering Change Request (ECR)

This one was initiated by Jim Router who was employed by Lotus Cars the ECR was raised one week before the first car was launched. The Engineering Manager at Dunmurry that approved the request was Colin Pinn.
