How To: Adjust your Parking Brake

Obviously a basic operation, but a how-to guide can't hurt for anyone who's never done it before.

Its worth pointing out that you need to visually inspect your parking brake pads first to:
    1. Make sure they are even there.
    2. The wear is even.
    3. they haven't been "over adjusted"

eBay selling at it's best I can tell you stock Delorians and quite a bit of slugs so the Turbo is a super nice up-grade.

THANKS for this! My parking brake quit working a few months after I bought my car and I have been waiting for something like this to give me the confidence to try to adjust it back to working.

Those are pretty straight forward instructions. Now I will see in practice how well I do. Thanks for posting.

Keep in mind, on some cars, you may not need to adjust both screws. Do one at a time, and try to get them roughly close to each other in terms of when they start grabbing.
