    Starting a Carbureted DeLorean

    For the morbidly curious, this is what it's like to start and drive a carbureted DeLorean (credit Farrar Hudkins -- he's the one with a nice video camera):

    His choke mechanism needs a shot of PB. A little bit sticky, which is to be expected given the high humidity environment in which he lives -- nothing a quick tap on the accelerator pedal can't overcome.

    Carbureted DeLoreans are of course faster than stock:

    (I tried to post this video in the upgraded and improved tail light board thread, but tripped over my http's. You can see my modern upgrade at the end of the clip).

    If Farrar brings his camera perhaps we can shoot some more video at DCS (I am displaying indoors so my car will be unavailable Saturday).

    eBay selling at it's best I can tell you stock Delorians and quite a bit of slugs so the Turbo is a super nice up-grade.
