Old Spice Commercial: Sand DeLorean at the beach

Looks like the Old Spice commercial is finally available:

Man I would hate to have to clean up that car afterward. Certainly hope Old Spice pays well. Definitely glad to see it still runs at the end. I remember in the past there were photos either from before or after the shooting showing the car only partially covered. Anyone remember them?

I saw this last night for the first time and laughed. I was working in the shop and looked up at the flat screen and glanced down and thought "sand delorean?" I looked back up and the thing was driving!

Why would ANYONE sign up to have this done to their car?? I don't care how much to "clean" it, you'll NEVER EVER EVER get all of that sand out. For year to come you'll always find sand somewhere.

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

There is two places I can think of that you never want sand. This is one of them.

    haha, win.

EDIT: im sure others noticed as well; the sand bumper falls off the rear fascia where the chunk was missing from the actual car. i wonder what happened to it, perhaps just a minor collision. this is what 01345 looked like in december 2010:

And we all know that sand is a great material to pack your air intakes, radiator, condensor, fans, wheels, brakes and alternator with. I'm sure I've left out plenty of other components which would benefit greatly from the healing and restorative qualities of fine particulate matter.

Edit: Great commercial though, mistreatment of the car aside Old Spice has a really good marketing department/ad agency.
