Delorean is still my dream car, ever since I was 5, but building BMW race cars pays the bills right now. I wont lie, I get to build alot of neat stuff, It all starts out with raw tubing and plate, and a regular street car. I do 100% of the work from stripping it down, rewiring, fabricating the cage, all brackets, windows, vinyl, paint, even assemble the engines and drive train. Everything but drive them

Neat, Can I do the driving then? Seems fair!
I'd love to see a Delorean given that treatment. Go on, you know you want to, you've even made a start on the front of yours!

Clint is unstoppable. That's all I have to say about that - there's nothing this guy can't do. I've seen it!

Since im so "unstoppable" I better keep updating. I will update to a more current set of events. Ive begun to rebuild the engine and transmission. While the drivetrain is out I repaired the last of the rot.

So the engine is pulled and the car put on a trailer.

Back on the lift at Kontrolle. Sanded off alot of the nasty old paint and epoxy.

looking better, but now to cut out the rot on the passenger side rail where a water pipe mount is located.

Old metal removed and new plate covers the hole and makes the frame stronger.

Next I decided the rear frame support needs to be removable, so I carefully cut it off and make these new plates with welded in nuts to re attach the bumper.

Here is a quick update on the engine too. Most parts have now been cleaned.

massive crack in my dizzy cap would explain the rough running.
