Is this supposed to be Sean's farewell party? I might actually drive out just to make him mad one last time if it is.

Here's a current list of things I'd like to try and accomplish on my car. I doubt we'll have the time to get at everything what with other people no doubt having projects as well, but anything I can scratch off the list would be great.
1. Engine stalling troubleshooting. (I suspect a dying fuel pump, but I'd like to get more opinions.)
2. Track down environmental water leak issues as described here.
3. Hood release backup cable. (Can anyone clue me in on the exact parts I should be picking up for this in advance?)
4. Speedometer troubleshooting and part replacements.
5. Engine ticking troubleshooting. (Exhaust leak?)
6. Window regulator replacements. (IF I BUY THE PARTS. I would very much rather wait until I can get Toby's door lock actuators and then knock all of that stuff out at the same time while the door panels are off, but I don't know if he stopped selling them or what because they haven't been available in forever. I also do have a second door lock solenoid I can install instead, but it's a LH solenoid so I would need some help reversing it to work on the RH door. Can anyone comment on this? EDIT: Scratch that. Looked at Toby's site and found he had some available! I picked 3-5 day shipping so I'm really hoping I can get them in time for the tech day.)
7. Remove the MCU to get at the valley for inspection and any cleaning. (If possible, time permitting.)
8. Slave cylinder bleeder installation while the MCU is out of the way. (If possible, time permitting.)
9. Steering rack boot replacement. (If possible, time permitting.)

I'll be there as well, hopefully in 06220.
I'm going to try to be there with 1623, but I'll have to leave around 2PM.
I thought 1669 was going to be a no-show since yesterday. I had just rinsed it off and restarted it when it just quit running after about 15 seconds. I thought it was wet ignition, but it lost fuel pressure. After a lot of testing/hair pulling all day, I found the accumulator was being fed by a 50psi rated hose which said "NOT FOR FUEL INJECTION" right on it -- &#$%&! POs. It was spraying WAY up into the frame and took a while for it to ever drip.
Anyway, I missed getting the clear coat wheeled out twice. A big NAPA here is the only place left where I have a chance of getting a replacement to match the fittings. If it's out of stock, no telling what I'll have to drive down in.

The only request I have is if someone could please tell me what my best option is for a backup trunk release cable. I've been told to just buy a bicycle brake cable but I don't know A) if that's the best option or B) where to buy one.
I'm also really hoping you guys can assist me in installing my new window motors and DPNY's lock actuators.
