You won't get fuel sprayed from the injectors unless you press the air plate down. You need to pull all six injectors and put them jars to test this.

How long has it been since the car ran last? Pull the injectors - all of them - put them in jars, jump the RPM relay so the pump runs, check to make sure there is NO gas or drippage, then slowly press down on the plate and see what the pattern is like. Then report back!

OK, so they are saying that when the fuel pump is running (RPM relay is removed and the connector is jumped so that the pump is on, nothing else) and they press down on the air plate that no fuel is coming out of the injectors at all?

    Need a little more information:

    1. When the car was parked, was it running fine? How long has it been in storage?
    2. Explain what you did when you took the car out of storage to get to the point you are at now.
    3. You said the car has all new fuel lines and new fuel pump. When did this occur, where did you get parts, and who installed it?
    4. Have they removed the fuel inlet line from the distributor and verified that gas is reaching the distributor? Perhaps when the pump was installed it was put in backwards or got the hoses kinked?

They could test all this by pulling out the pump, pulling the return line out of the tank, and running the pump. There should be a steady stream of fuel coming out of the return hose. When they reinstall the pump they might need to loosen the pickup hose clamp at the bottom of the pump to make sure the pickup hose is not kinking in the tank. They may need to follow the metal lines and make sure the pump hoses are on the right barbs so it is feeding the right direction!

"A" Short test - remove the fuel line at the fuel distributor that comes from the filter. Turn the pump on. See if gas comes out. If not, proceed to B

"B" disconnect the line that goes from the fuel distributor that goes to the metal line below the ignition coil cover. Turn the pump on. If fuel comes out there, the hoses are backwards at the pump.

The distributor has fuel gas is going into it it just wont come out of it to go in the injectors. The pump was installed we just wired it . We are thinking its the distributor because we have gas in we cant get it to go out . I have no idea how long the car sat or who did the work . Can you buy a new distributor or should it be rebuilt ??

I would go over all of the hoses to make sure you connected it correctly. Rare for the unit to be completely stuck.
