I left Montreal at about 2:00 Friday morning, the drive to Toronto is supposed to take 5hre, it took me 6 and a half.

I passed Cornwall, and my Pionner radio (only 1 year old) decide to quit. when I stopped for gas, i decide to check for fuses. but the cigar light and clock still works...so everything is fine. Than I suspect the fuse behind the radio. I forgot the 2 pins to take out the radio. I decide to continue withou a radio. Well I won every argument I had with myself....

get close to Toronto tand it s raining like well, tree are waving in the winds, felt like I was going into a tornado with a Delorean..crazy me..

With the crazy strong rain and wind, the car leaked a bit on the passenger side. The doors seals where already ordered but not on the car yet. But I knew I had to changed them.

The tech days was simply wonderfull, Dave, Julee, Mike and Jason where great, and soooo nice. I learned so much and left with knowing everything I need to knoww on my own car, and how to work it.

Dave is an open book on this he will tell you everything you need to know.

Thanks to Chris C. with the gold painted car for letting me stay at his place for 2 nights.

Thanks to Mike B. for organizing this, you made it.

thanks to the DMC Midwest team, you rock !

    What a great day !

left Toronto at 7am on sunday, and after 1hour drive the speedo went funny for a minute and then 0.. finally I will change that angle drive !!!!

Thanks to everyone for letting me be part of it.

Man I would have loved to be there! Where did you guys all meet up? How do we arrange Dave and Julee to ship their operation all the way to CA for us?

Seriously it's so cool that they were willing to participate. What a great group.

Thanks Julee, hopefully next summer (or maybe a fall tech day...hint hint)

My favorite "Demonstration" was on Tim's car with the floppy doors. Mike and Jason pulled out some home made tools and adjusted the torsion bars. Before you know it almost everyone formed around them to watch.
That's what I was hoping to have done on my passenger door

I have seen a couple of other pics of that car and, not to get my color-wheel out, but would it not be more correct to call that car Bronze rather than Gold?

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Its kind of in between, but I would consider it more gold as bronze is darker.

17076 replies: Thanks Marty, it was a long time in the making and I was so busy in the garage trying to keep things moving I did not have time to do a final count.
Cars were coming in and out during the day and I heard we had 19 cars show up and even more owners whose cars were in various states of repair.

The DMC Midwest team were amazing to watch and truly a first rate bunch. We introduced them all to Tim Horton's coffee, "Pizza Pizza" Pizza and Poutine.
Seriously I cannot say enough about how great this day turned out... I think it will be fondly remembered for MANY years! The visit brought out many cars
and owners we have never seen in the club before.

By the way 19 cars in one place is a record for Canada.
