Also, even if the developer of penicillin was Scottish, I would think the credit for the discovery would go to whatever country under whose aegis {s}he was working, not to their original country of origin. But I don't know if that's a written "rule" or just a personal feeling.

I also like "Red Dwarf", "Are You Being Served?" and the original "Who's Line is it, Anyway?" And if we're including the Scots; "Chewin' the Fat" and "Still Game" are great shows too.
