Yeah - now you've de-evolutioned to pre -1975 or so. And I recall changing mechanical fuel pumps at the time much more often than electric pumps on modern cars. BTW there is a fuel pump lobe on the back of the passenger side cam under the blanking panel, so somewhere out there is a mechical PRV fuel pump waiting to be re-discovered.
