New member! Can you ID these parts?

    Hello all

New member John from NE ohio here and my Grandfather was a DeLorean collector. He owned 3 1/2 of these beauties and holy stuff they had me chomping at the bit to get my drivers license as a kid...one had under 5K orig miles on odo!!!

Unfortunately he passed and the cars were all sold to someone out of the family...

Good news is that I came across a bunch of parts that were stashed in my mothers garage!

Can anyone educate me on what they are and value in present condition? As soon as I hit 20 quality posts they will be available in the For Sale section along with a complete steering column, a pair of seats and rear louvers/headace rack?.

    John,

You got your prices. If you go the ebay route, post a link here so members of this forum have a chance to buy.

Thanks for ther help. Those schematics are just what I need...and have already been a useful tool.

How is the ebay market on DeLorean parts?

    Craigslist any better?

Keep them here in the community. eBay is stupid - I call them ePay now when it comes to what they charge to list things and most DeLorean parts on there are cross-referenced and inaccurate.

Actual snippet of a conversation from Sept 2013:

Me: Eddie, I can't wait to get the car back when you're done with it.

Eddie: Yeah, you'll be able to give the car gas, and it won't be - like - embarrassing....

A: anyone who buys them is most likely "in the community". It doesn't matter if they bought them here in the site or eBay or Craigslist, it goes to a Delorean guy.

B: a lot of people on DMCTalk want everything at a steal. They somehow feel like they are too good to pay market value. I recently put my left fender up for sale here and was immediately chastised for asking too much and I "would never sell it". So much for going to the "community". I sold it last week on eBay for much more than I was asking here, even after epay fees.
