    Relay Puller Tool

One more thing to cross of my "to do list"

This works great. No heat treat required. It really does not take any pressure on the sides just use the thumb screw to keep it from moving.

But if your pulling my solid State relays, you must disconnect the battery or you will blow the relay and maybe melt your harness. The fan fail should be OK with batter and the dome light if you pull the fuse for it.

I've just about run out of most of my circuit boards so I will move those bottom exposed pads in 0.025" just in case.

Thats pretty cleaver Dave. But for someone that might not have a mill in there shop. You can probably just buy one of these : http://www.ntxtools.com/network-tool...LIS-46950.html

This assumes there is enough space to get the jaws between the relays.

Those may work but my relays and some stock types I've seen are 1.10" wide so the space required with those may not work. Again, if the puller is steel, disconnect the battery. Also our front relay bank is a little hidden by the front cover so you would need to tilt those when pulling.

Yeah, I just took a look at the compartment, those pliers would have to be modified to get between your modules.

I did come across this style that grips the corners. There kind a pricey though.

Those corner grab ones would probably be hard to use on the front bank of relays.

The gap between two 1.10" inch wide relays is about 0.090"

What about a couple of coats of this to insulate the legs?

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

I need to keep that sharp 0.035" lip to grab the bottom edge of the relay.
