    A couple of pics:

The scene when I arrived, just after the first downpour

Derek & Doug seeking shelter from the rain on some guys porch

    This guy came prepared

The first storm cleared out about half the cars unfortunately. This beautiful Esprit stayed:

And even towards the end of the show Derek was still busy

After walking through all the great British cars and bikes, my son decided that he wanted this one, parked in a side street (never seen one here before)

Also a first time on this side of the pond (and why someone would import one is beyond me)

1000 internet points if you can ID it

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Nice pics Dermot! That tells the story right there. Funny when you took that picture of the porch house that you didn't yet know Doug and I were under there.

It sure was interesting watching people with those old convertible cars scramble to assemble complicated looking framework before even beginning to get the canvas over it.

Also, because I just can't help but further complain about the weather......

"Sure is NICE outside today and the rest of these weekdays. But of course it is. No one is planning an enjoyable car show."

John! You're not eligible for this contest!

Yes, on the nail. A small volume Fiberglas conv from the people who brought you the Robin 3 wheeler.

    Oops, sorry!

Why anyone would buy that car in the USA is beyond me though! Any idea why he went with Opel wheels, just to confuse people?!

    J/k John

No, didn't see anyone around to ask. Maybe if he is there next year, I'll find out

    Maybe had some sentimental value.
