    S/S 5 Speed Shifter ball

Anyone have a S/S 5 speed shifter ball, with the shifter pattern on the ball not the DMC logo.

I remember DMOCO sold these as well as DMCH, but they no longer have them!!

I have seen that knob before, but not crazy about it. The shift pattern looks a little sloppy.

The nice thing about this e-bay one is that it appears the shift pattern in actually carved into the know as oposed to just screen printed on the surface like the other versions I've seen.

    Cheers.

It is not polished. I have the one from DMOCO and it has a sort of polish, but not shiney. (brushed) Deloman in Germany sells those as well. (www.deloman.de) He has them in 2 sizes. Not sure if they are available with a pattern on them.

The first SS ball I bought was from Deloman, and was the smaller version. It was not that nice to handle, so it is now used to hold the roofcap on may garden house. It came with a black plastic ball with the same thread, and wouldn't you know, it fits. A delorean shifters knob on top of my garden house....
