    Shipping Wars - DeLorean

I was just flipping through channels and caught a commercial for Shipping Wars saying that they are going to be transporting a DeLorean.

Here is a brief description of the episode:

Who the hell paid $150,000 to restore a DeLorean? Who is the "nit-picking customer"? We will find out on Tuesday.
Does it have a flux capacitor?
Does it run on 1.21 Giggawatts?
Have you been chased by terrorist?

No but I have been chased by ladies because it’s a chick magnet!

Maybe it's the last car D1 restored... lol

The guy probably just now got possession of it from having to pay it off, one organ at a time.

It was just a matter of time. I think the script writers for all these "reality" shows are related. I'm just wondering how they intend to write a DeLorean onto "Breaking Amish".

The episode features dpi and a North carolina owner. I have no idea where they pulled 150k from..... Kinda wondering how this will turn out since I have yet to see the final product....

Remember, it's still TV, they make stuff up. Unless that car levitates it wasn't anywhre near 150K but it has people talking and that's what matters to them.

I saw the commercial again this morning and the guy starts off by saying its a $30,000 car and his load becomes a $150,000 load after he picks up more stuff along the way. I think he mentioned picking up a piano in the commercial.

Either way, the website is deceiving.

I guess we will have to wait until tomorrow night to see what kind of "original" BTTF jokes are made. :/

It is me and #16128. Just like 08087 said, it is a TV show. Remember it is entertainment and nothing more. I'm not at liberty to discuss specifics of the show, but it was a fun experience overall. It would be a boring TV show if everything went perfect and then there would be no reason to watch these types of shows at all if there was not some type of "drama". I've laughed every time I've seen the commercial on TV. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the show and marvel at how they choose to edit the footage together.

One day Hezekiah see's an odd contraption of the English...

He then gets an idea! After toiling for weeks in his barn he reveals his rear-bridled carriage!

Done! There is a bit of truth to that part, I won't deny it. But I'm not mean or overbearing about it. I just like all my things to be clean and nice, that's all. I know I'm not alone in that matter.
