Looking for a strut connector (the threaded bolt with a ball on the end that the gas struts connect to). My car is missing this on the drivers side, and they do not appear to be available from DMCH:

Or anyone have a suggestion for a cross-reference, or some other way to get a second strut installed?
I was wondering about the possibility of getting a strut with an eye hole on one end - could then do a bolt with a few nuts to connect everything . . .

Possibly a browse around your nearest Pull-A-Part/wreckers yard might produce something from a trunk or hatchback ??

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"
