    Extra screws on fuel distributor?

I'm finally going through all my extra parts that I have no use for. One of them is my spare PRV fuel distributor. Does anyone know the story with this type of fuel distributor? This isn't the only one I've ever seen before. I've used this particular one before and it works no different than the standard fuel distributor. The difference is it has these extra allen head screws next to each port going to a cylinder. Anyone know what they're for?

    Pics:

Like I said it works just like the other fuel distributors that do not have the screws. Just curious to possibly get the story before I sell it.

    EDIT:
For reference, here is a picture of the more common fuel distributor:

Mine has the extra "screws". On my unit those are caps to access an adjusting screw for each injector flow.

1669 had one of those on it when I got it. I noticed the ID tag was exactly like the one on my "original" spare, and all of the ones I've seen. I assumed someone rebuilt it and used a "original" base...what numbers are on the one you have?

The fuel distributrs with the adjustment screws are not original to the DeLorean.
They were used by Renault on some models (I am not sure wich ones, so I leave that part to others to answer to).

I have one on my D and it allows to adjust the chambers in the FD to match the fuel quantity of the other chambers as closely as possible.
I'm content with my less than 3% difference, but taking all the time to complete adjustment may get you all chambers supply equal quantity.

W, would you mind giving me the numbers off of the tag next time you have a chance?

    No problem, Ron.

I even can help you with two numbers that seem to work:
    0-438-100-105 (used in a friend's D)
0-438-100-109(A) in mine; both versions (109 and 109A) seem to do well in a D.

By the way ebay has one on sale at 500 USD.
    Interested? This is the link:
