    Owners Manual for $600?!

Those of us with them are apparently sitting on gold mines.

Actual snippet of a conversation from Sept 2013:

Me: Eddie, I can't wait to get the car back when you're done with it.

Eddie: Yeah, you'll be able to give the car gas, and it won't be - like - embarrassing....

The seller has nearly 10,000 items listed, including 6600 car & Bike manuals !!!!! How do you even manage something like that.

Ours is topped only by a '79 RR one for $900 and a '95 Ferrari F355 one for $700.

He even has a Bricklin one for $400

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Damn man, that thing is worn! It's all wrinkled, scratched, folded, there's some ink missing on the cover, I think the X-ray page even has coffee or dirt stains on it. Mine's nearly flawless compared to this, and is still in the equally flawless valet pocket. It's gotta be worth at least twice as much.

Anyone want to trade a gas flap hood for my owner's manual?

Some of those I've seen at swap meets for 5 bucks. Maybe next time I'll buy out the swap meet and sell them on ebay...

Sorry to necro an old thread. When i bought my car it had the original thick manual. After a visits to some shops it appears it is no longer in the car. I rarely go in the glove box, so who knows how long it has been gone. I ordered a new one from dmch , but its a reproduction and much smaller. Anyone know where I may be able to find an original one? Again sorry for the necro post

You might want to try autolit.com. Their late founder, Walter Miller, has an absolutely enormous volume of car manuals and such. FWIW I am acquainted with a guy who is helping the family continue the business, I wouldn't mind asking...
