Mounting Diamond Select FC behind the seats.

So basically, who has made a temp rig to hold their FC during car shows? I know many have then just sitting on the pacel shelf and I know of one who had made a false wall.

If you have any pics, please share.

I don't want it permanent, just something temp so I can have it up on car shows and removed for all other drives.

Mine is a replica built from an actual box so it has holes in the corners. I just use zip ties in the top corners and tie them to the cargo net hooks. If you have no holes in yours maybe a few big strips of velcro to stick to the carpet.

That's not a bad idea (they have holes top and bottom), is yours as heavy as the Diamond Select version?

Me: Eddie, I can't wait to get the car back when you're done with it.

Eddie: Yeah, you'll be able to give the car gas, and it won't be - like - embarrassing....

If you're not going to drive with it. Just set it on the shelf.

I recommend this. It works very well. I mounted mine very similarly using coat hanger wire as shown here^. Only difference with my setup is that the wires weren't quite as long so the FC sat at an angle instead of vertically. Just depends what you want.

Up close shots of my mount, which are nothing more than wire coat hangers.
