Me: Eddie, I can't wait to get the car back when you're done with it.
Eddie: Yeah, you'll be able to give the car gas, and it won't be - like - embarrassing....
It happened early last week - pricing I had grabbed that weekend had changed by last Wednesday.
I'm guessing across the board given even little gromits had jumped up several bucks
I thought your economy was shot to hell at the moment?

I picked up a new throttle body/butterfly assembly last week and it went from $86 to $107.

That's usually a sign of either greed, or availability shortages.
The DMC folks never struck me as the greedy type. So yeah. Uh oh.

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered some parts week before last and didn't notice the price changes. Guess I need to start comparing prices again. Unfortunately, most parts come out of Houston no matter who you order from. Good time to remember we have multiple vendors.
That 10% off from DMC for spending $1500 in 12 months isn't sounding like such a good deal anymore. Guess I'll start calling Rob (PJ Gradys) to compare prices on any kits I order going forward.

True... I'm about to order some new wheel center caps. Last week the set of four was about $32, now $41. I also need a new CPR which was $100, now $164.95. Son of nutcracker!

I just received my louvre support buffer which was $49.95 a few weeks ago, now $61.xx. Overall looks like prices are up at least 20% or more. Although compared to other parts prices I've experienced its not too bad. I've had some sticker shock at the Harley Davidson parts counter.

I believe what you are seeing is parts which are not being reproduced and are coming out of the original inventory have increased in price by 25%.
I ran a couple parts I knew the prices of and compared that to what the price is now, and if a part has gone up, it went up 25%. Not everything went up though. To me it looks like parts which are from the original lot from the 80s have gone up, but if you are looking at a reproduced part price, that has not gone up.

It would be nice if someone from DMC would comment on these increases...
