Paging Derek to this thread. Derek, please report to the Nerd Thread.
Just now responding to this paging.... only 2 months later!! Haha, sorry, I only just now saw this. Any details on that pack? I see the fairly recent reproduction GB1 ribbon cable on there, but damn, that thing looks screen-used! Would love to know more details.
I finally have K-9's drive system running. I have to do a couple of tweaks. One of the front wheels is a bit off the ground, it needs a couple of shims. I have the sounds set up but haven't found speakers I like. Basically I built a large and heavy radio controlled car.

Awesome, Darcom. Looks like a couple of wiper motors are driving it? K-9 runs off an Arduino and a wireless PS2 controller. I bet that set up wouldn't survive the vibration from a mower.

I'm using wheelchair motors and a roboclaw 60 amp with a 12 battery. it can mow for over 8 hours on the battery maybe longer if my controler thumb didn't get tired.
I'm trying to get my K-9 mostly working by a small con on August 9th. Sorry about how blurry the second photo is, it was late by the time the paint dried enough to put the panels on.

It's Paracon in Pensacola. It's tiny but Terry and Oliver will be there. It'll be the first time I've ever seen a Time Machine conversion in person. I hope to have Flux (his name since he has DeLorean parts in him) complete by Pensacon in Feburary 2015.
