......and this would be why you won't find a pic of 00910's engine bay here. Wow.
Yeah, it's dirty. I drive it.

Now I have the urge to take a picture of my nasty, never-been-detailed, oil-leak-spew engine bay and post it here to make everyone else feel superior about their own engine bays.

You should Farrar. I find them just as cool to look at.

DeLorean enginitus is a weird - albeit common - obsession.

Installed a Second Engine Bay Light & Did Some Other Engine Bay Tidying

Posted this in the "What did you do to your DeLorean Today" thread, but the project was engine bay related, so I'll repost these pictures here too. I installed a second engine bay light and did some other general cleaning. I repainted the ballast resistor mounting plate and re-wraped most of the exposed wire in the engine compartment with silicone tape. I really dislike electrical tape because it leaves the wires a sticky mess.

That picture was taken last summer. I have a new a/c compressor on now, but it looks largely the same... except maybe oilier. :'(

Need for paint work aside, I think your engine bay looks pretty good. I like the lack of clutter!
