I still think the PRV is the best looking engine in this car.

    It just glistens!

I think the PRV is just about the ugliest looking engine ever built. It is the definition of function over form. Really not a magnificent sight to behold...

Good luck finding a good-looking 30 year old mass produced engine.

Okay, this might sound really stupid to you all, but how do you end up cleaning these engines so well? Do you have to take it all apart and clean it or do you clean it all together? I know you'd have to dismantle it to paint it, but to just clean it too? I'm just curious.

Yeah, when you do the VOD rebuild it's a great time to detail everything.

The more you take off, the easier it is, and more access is available, to clean and detail.

VOD work provides a good chance to address the intake, valve covers, A/C pulleys, and with some limited access the timing cover. Removing the exhaust gives all sorts of access to the sides of the block and full access to the timing cover.

eBay selling at it's best I can tell you stock Delorians and quite a bit of slugs so the Turbo is a super nice up-grade.

I finished my wire loom project today. Here's a view of how my engine compartment looks now. It's not perfect, but in my opinion it's much better.
