so supposedly he has the 3rd saddle brown interior and built his 'gold' D around that, eh? i remember this car from the old DMCTalk, but that detail was missing before.
anyone know the VIN?
What I've always wanted to know-
1.) How do you clean the gold DeLoreans?? Regular car soap? Jewelry cleaner?
2.) What do you tell your insurance company if someone keys, scratches it, or worse...
I shudder at the thought! Beautiful car, though. I always love seeing the gold D's.
That saddle interior makes me drool! I do remember this car from the old DMC Talk now that dvonk mentions it.

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

so its not actually gold? from what i understand it a mix of vinyl wrap and tinted brass plating?
only the dmc emblem, lug nuts, light fixtures and a few other small items are actually 24kt plated

thats what it seems. at today's spot prices i think he'd be bankrupt trying to use real gold i think its definitely a nice tribute to the real gold DeLoreans!
