Thanks guys. The car still needs some touch-ups here and there and then another full-body wet sand and buff, but it's getting there.
Now I need to start on the interior, but before I can do that I need to send off my seat belts to be re-webbed. Once they're back, I can lay down the carpet and get the interior trim and the seats back in.

Okay, that makes sense. Did they use more clear than normal to make it "extra" shiny like KITT should be compared to a "normal" black car?

It was more to make sure everything is even across the entire car.
The reason he said to take it home was because he knew I had work to do to it. This way if I manage to scratch anything while I'm doing what I need to do, he can fix it.
