    Amsteer Lower ball joints.

Are the current recommended lower ball joint replacements made by and Amsteer in the UK? I emailed them they said they have a pair for DeLorean. I got their name from a european DeLorean site.

I'm doing a front end restoration and wanted to replace them.

    Thanks
    Jeff

I believe that is where ours come from. We can give you a competitive price shipped from the US.

Yes they are the ones, probably cheaper buying through a US vendor but from within the UK if you call them direct and quote the DeLorean Owners Club (UK) as per this thread: http://www.deloreans.co.uk/forum/vie...hp?f=20&t=4353 then they are priced at £55.00 plus shipping, however probably cheaper through a vendor in your country and it's better to support your local vendor.

On another note they have just produced a set of track rod ends (tie rod) for the DeLorean, exactly as per origional lenth/taper Etc Etc for me, They do come out slightly more expensive than some at £14.00 each but are exact perfect origionals. I can post some pics if anyones interested.

These are the same ones we have been selling for well over a year now - most of our dealers have stock on them.

The price direct from Amsteer is per pair

international shipping on this given the size of the package won't be much.

Thanks Martin. We purchase through euro tech to support the club and pay 60 per unit I believe. Guess I need to go to the source.

Sales tax (VAT) in the UK is 20% - if you check Chris' link above, the price is £55/pair incl vat. If you, as a company outside the EU, buy direct from a supplier who is VAT registered (I'd be amazed if Amsteer isn't), you shouldn't have to pay VAT because they'll book it out as a trade export. The price therefore will be closer to £46/pair not including any quantity discount

Thanks Everyone. I'm pulling the front end apart this weekend and I can determine what I need.

I know my bearings (which I have a replacement set) or Ball joints are bad. The left wheel has play in it.

I have a feeling my LCA's are trash, they look like they jacked the car up by them.. uugghh!
