SpecialTauto has them for 16.95 You can't beat the price it's dirt cheap. Not like it's a complicated part either. Nothing that will break either!

Guess he should remove it from his website if doesn't plan on replenishing his stock. Looks like another possible part for DPI to produce.

If this is p/n 101045, does anyone have a picture of this installed on their car? Might just have found another piece of the theoretical DeLorean that doesn't exist on my car...

101045 is the real DMC part, it is really stainless, and was apparently never installed at the factory. The factory ones were all asbestos. My theory is that this was a replacement that was intended but they didn't run out of the other ones. They are available and in stock for about $38.
Sorry, no photos installed handy. The photo on the DMCH Website is accurate.

Should have a bunch in stock. Haven't sold any in about a month. Most owners just opt for the spec one system.

You can check with Rob Grady. I got one from him when we installed the 3.0 at his shop. I remember he said to me "Hang on...I've got something that would be an improvement over the asbestos shield." He ran to the back room and came out with it. and said he rarely ever uses them! I'm sure he still has a stock of them.
If I'm not mistaken, it is on VIN 001292. Josh, can you verify this?
