I remember that D. Went to go evaluate it back in 2000-2002, before I moved back to Fort Lauderdale. It used to be a display piece inside of the store.

I found the old pics in my photobucket acct:

From what I remember, it was an automatic, missing the emblem on the shifter, black interior. Very good condition. Yeah, George will not sell that car. Kinda disappointed he moved it outside though.

Looks like a grey interior. I haven't really seen any LATE VINed black interior cars.

Unless he converted it to black, but it does look grey, even in the dark, I believe you are correct.

Funny, i remember it being black.. Old age catches up from time to time.

My friend Mike knew a sales guy and we were able to open the car and go through it. There was some kind of out dated anti-radar device installed on it... real 80's old school electronics crap.

You can see part of it under the front spoiler in that front view pic outside the store.

This was the first Delorean I ever went to see with the intention of buying one. No idea it was in such a poor condition.
It was in an old chicken hatchery and it still had this strong smell
But there were a bunch of expensive and classic cars; Lamborghini's, Rolls, Ferrari, Lotus,... you name it like 150 cars in this old farm. They all belonged to a doctor that collects them, but was getting rid of his collection.
So I was kind of surprized to see this place with all these cars. (I expected just the Delorean) The Delorean was is a real poor shape. Parts of the engine and the clutch were in the bonnet. But the car was certainly a good project car. the dash was very good. The frame however, for what I could see was not good.
I did like the cherry red color. I would have paintd it the same color if it were in a better condition if I would have bought it.
He wanted 15.000€ for the car... It s probably still there now.
