The deer whistles must have looked ridiculous. That's my guess what was attached to those plastic mounts on the fascia.

Hope it isn't BHCC they are doing a deal with. Although we can accredit them to saving cars like these it would be nice if it is not a reseller rather a DMC user/restorer.

From what I've been able to discern, I don't think its them.

This car has been sitting for a long time. The radiator and fans are missing and the engine was partially disassembled. you can just make out the condenser sitting on the ground. But otherwise it is a complete car. Lots of frame rust though... it also appeared to me like the front end of the body was lifted off of the frame... not sure exactly what I was looking at when I peered under there, and I didn't take any pictures of that unfortunately, but there was definitely significant space between the top of the frame and the bottom of the fiberglass.

    My VIN:    10757 1st place Concourse 1998

Sounds like the car was overheated and the head gaskets popped. Someone started taking it apart and then end-of-story. It will need a lot of love to get it going again. Figure a lot of frame rot and the interior is a mess. Rebuild the brakes, fuel, clutch, and cooling system and all of the other little bits it is going to need. Repaint the facias, regrain the car. Tires, struts, battery, all the rubber hoses and seals, and then the A/C. A lot of parts.

The overheating was my guess as well, it was last registered in 1993. Mechanics were probably saying “a Delorean? Cant get parts for that...” About that time.

For what its worth, i have definitely seen worse interiors. The binnacle wasn’t even cracked, bad rip in passenger seat though. Its a black interior automatic by the way.
