    I think the gold car replica from Germany is probably the one with the factory original tan interior? Or, he found the factory tan interior car, removed it and used it for the gold car replica - but the pictures suggest these are 30 year old tan interior pieces...

    According to that website, the original interior parts were cleaned, and then color-matched for a new interior to be made in as close to the original brown as possible.
    3.0L, automatic, carbureted

    Yep, but the way I read it, some of the parts ( seats, a pillar trim, kneepad, etc ) were brown originally, then cleaned to freshen them up. Then, the dash was color matched to the same brown, along with any other pieces which he did not have in brown...

    Factory built colour options

    VIN 10455 is the Burgundy car and VIN 10454 the Blue trim car - I mention this just in case there is any doubt.
