What oil do other cold weather (Ontario) owners use in their D's?

What kind of oil does everyone use in their car? Typical for Ontario, my car comes out of hibernation in April sometime (or even May) and then goes away again at the end of October. I would say most days I've been doing my driving it has been between 14 and 24 deg C outside. I know that a particular oil viscosity is better for certain temperatures, so I wanted to hear what others use? I'm a one oil change per year kind of guy, sometimes in the Spring or sometimes in the Fall. Realistically I might only put on 2k miles on the car each year or less.

I've been running 20W50 in late spring/the summer season, and change it to 10W30 in the autumn. It's recommended NOT running 20W0 under 0C. Never had a problem starting it in winter (I have to start and move it twice over winter) and it's kept in an uninsulated garage for the time being.
