5 speed donor car for conversion

    Hi group.

I am looking for a 5 speed for electric conversion. Non running cars are fine. Need car to be in goods shape cosmetically. And good frame because of amount of torque electric motors have. Offer bounty $100 for helping me find the car. I prefer not to take a running D apart in my project.

Budget is around $8000. It all depends.

    Thanks.

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

I may have one or more variations that you may be interested in purchasing.

I have one later model car, with engine and trans. removed and good frame.

I also have a completely rebuilt and re-inforced frame that was galvanized
and powdercoated, which was originally intended for use in a convertible
project (not mine) that I purchased last year. If you are looking for a really
beefed-up frame to tote around lots of batteries, this is the frame.

Where are you located? My fiberglass guy who reinforced the Limo underbody
would be ideal for your project (he builds battery trays for locomotives).

Let me know if you have an interest in what I have available.
For more details, Email me at: [email protected]

    Later,
    Rich W.
