Chasing Classic Cars - F40 Motorsports

While visiting CT and NY two weeks ago I went by F40 Motorsports, (F40.COM) For those of you who watch HD Theater & Discovery, I'm sure you're familiar with Chasing Classic Cars. I did get to meet Wayne but the highlight was getting to see the old guy mechanic working on a Ferrari 512. Unfortunately, there were no Deloreans.

I must say I was intrigued by the white one. I like its appearance.

Hank Eskin and I were at the open house they hosted on May 7th. We got there early, but it was already packed with cars! However, once the DeLorean's were spotted, they made room and had us park right up front!

It was a great day; a bunch of cool cars ,and we saw Wayne Carini walking around. They had a beautiful 300SL MB Gullwing in midnight blue sitting in the showroom...wow. The BMC bus was there, too. It was cool to see, as the first episode I ever saw featured that bus.

I too have gotten to meet Wayne and he's a top-notch guy, very friendly and down-to-earth. I met him at the 2010 New England Auto Show in Boston in December, '09.

Wayne is a regular at our Amelia Concours event. I have spoken to him everytime and seems like a friendly guy. This year I saw him as he came up in mint condition VW Karman Ghia.

I've been watching that show - I always keep a couple of episodes on my TiVo.

I like the early TR6 - I've always wanted one of those... I know Triumphs are known for their reliability too.
