Pantyhose is a cool idea. Any specific brand?

Seriously though, do you use them dry or with soap/water?

I guess I didnt fully understand the OPs question, I was talking about painted surfaces. Shouldnt make much different from the painted surface providing its nice and smooth. It will add a little shine but nothing crazy

I believe the answer is wet... After you put them on, spray your legs with soapy water and then use your calf to scrub. Make sure to post a video to show others how well it works... (heh heh)...

I never thought to do it this way. I just use them in the bucket with plenty of soap.

Living in south Florida we get bugs and during May/June we get the dreaded LOVE BUGS that create all kinds of mess for any forward-facing vehicle surface.

Trying all sorts of cleaning chemicals and soaps for years I found the best remover for bugs, especially love bugs, is a damp dryer sheet. 1 pass and boom - gone. I daily drive a white Tesla Model 3 and that concave front bumper is a magnet for bugs. No problem for a dryer sheet - no problems damaging paint and PPF.

It gets so bad in Florida that they put bug screens over the radiator grills so they radiators don't get plugged up with bugs! I will have to remember dryer sheets, neat tip!

Welcome! Luckily the Tesla doesn't have a traditional grille.
