    Double-Din Face-plate Bracket Radio Frame

    Hi all,

I'm trying to get this project going!

Here is all the information and detail on the project: http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?65...ame-Face-Plate

As I mentioned I will need 30 people to do this. Every 10 people I get, I will start making the parts.

Once I get the first 10 people, I will place an order for the A/C panel and A/C decal and so on with the next 10 people.

    PLEASE READ:
This is a very big project and expensive, a lot of money will be invested in building these parts and ordering shipping supplies. There will be a No Refund unless the project does not go forward at all. If you have to cancel for whatever reason you would have to find someone else to buy your place. If I don't have 10 people within a month or so, then I will cancel it and refund all people!

The faster everyone places an order, the sooner everyone will get them. Hopefully it can be done before the summer!!

    Here is payment info:
The total price for just the double-din kit alone, shipping included:
$250 in the US and Puerto Rico.
    $275 to Canada
    $285 all other countries.

Send payment to my paypal [email protected] PLEASE include your usernames when sending payment!

The prototype frame with radio brackets and A/C panel came out good. They just need to be adjusted a tad, very simple.

Here is my credibility for those questioning. Some parts I have made:

3rd Generation Trans Am 1985-1992 Double-Din Frame and S/S Brackets. Direct fit!
    GTA1.jpgGTA2.jpgGTA8.jpgGTA9.jpgGTA10.jpgGTA11.jpgGTA12.jpgDSC02966.jpg

4th Generation Trans Am 1993-2002 Double-Din Frame and S/S Brackets. Direct fit!
    LS5.jpgLS11.jpgLS7.jpgLS9.jpgLS8.jpgLS10.jpgLS12.jpgLS6.jpgLS2.jpg

Knight Rider Season 2 Lower Console plate with buttons/switches and studs pressed on bottom side. Screen Accurate!
    DSC02119.JPGDSC02120.JPGDSC03005.jpgDSC03002.jpgDSC03001.jpgSeason2LC.jpg

Knight Rider (1982 Trans Am) Shifter knob replica! I made a replica, fully functional knob, from the one used in the show and only found in the 1982 Trans Am. First the knob handle was powder coated in Black texture as you can see the first 2 customer pictures. Now they are Anodized in Matte Black as you can see from the first picture and last 2.

This is a great project, I have no doubt in my mind that you can complete this project but I have a couple of questions:

Once you get paid by 10 people, you will order some parts. If you don't get 10 orders within a month, then you will refund all money paid, so far so good.

What if the chain breaks between person number 11 and person number 29? Will you still refund the money to those who had already paid?

Maybe you should not start until you have all 30 people you need.

I would work extra hard at whatever I was doing to become so good at it and that I would never have to kiss anyone's fanny to keep my job. And I never have and I never will.

Once I get the 10 people I will place an order for the A/C decal and A/C panel. If I see things aren't really moving after, I will just put in my own money to get everything done, like I always do. At least with the 10 people it will help me push the project.
After I put in my own money and I have the parts made, those who didn't purchase beforehand, the prices will be and extra $30
$230 in the US and Puerto Rico.
    $305 to Canada
    $315 all other countries.

Hmm I am interested but have alot of mechanical work to do first. If I see this gaining momentum I might just have to get myself a kit. That would be great if you keep the thread updated with how many units are paid for!

    First $250.00
    Then $230.00
    Now $280.00 ?

What exactly is included in your "double-din kit alone"?

I'm really interested but not fully convinced yet.

    1. Price is $250 for those that buy in advance as stated above. The ones that don't buy in advance it will be $280. The $230 was a mistake, meant to write $280.

    2. I explained above to click on link who ever missed it, it explains everything: http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?65...ame-Face-Plate
