Proud Owner of TWO DeLoreans, Just bought them today

    VIN #4710 - 5 spd
VIN #2181 - Auto with gasflap hood

Here are some pics... rust free CA cars. The auto interior is in great shape, the 5spd needs some love. Both car's body panels are in great shape, 5spd has a slight impression on the T-top. Auto has zero dents.

Any idea why they were parked like that? I'm curious if they had problems before they were parked.

Congrats, welcome to the club. I assume these are the ones you talked about in the other thread.

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Congrats! I'm sure it's been done but I've never heard of anyone buying two Ds at the same time before. Well done! Any plans for them? Is one to be a daily driver and the other a garage queen?

Thanks! Actually the plan is to clean up the automatic, get it running and driving nicely and sell it... to fund a bigger build on the 5spd. I know it may be a bit sac-religious around here, but the plan for the 5spd is to drop a much more powerful engine in it (looking at V6 Camaro engine from current model cars 300+ hp)... and modernize the interior a bit, while keeping the outside looking fairly stock.

Too awesome. And 2181 is as close as any I've ever seen to mine!
