On Monday May 6, a man went on a test drive with two men who came looking to buy his Dodge pickup.

He never came home. His phone was turned off shortly after departure, and was found discarded.

They announced finding his burned remains this morning.

Why would I share this here? The fact that he did nothing more than try to sell his truck online seemed to hit me like a ton of bricks. That's something that a lot of us would think nothing of doing with any vehicle we own (save for maybe our little silver ones, and sometimes even them). He was taken from his family and murdered by two lowlifes. Over a pickup truck.

I have not gone into great detail here, so if you are interested in knowing more of the details so far feel free to google his name. It's been big news for the last week here.

Just...be careful out there.
