    From PJ Grady UK page:

    VIN517
Location unknown. Engineering car. Believed to have been last seen in a scrap yard where VIN515 was purchased. Black interior automatic.
Last seen in a scrap yard, and still alive?! It lives!!!

Can't wait to see pics of another 500 series automatic!

Doesn't look too bad, all the stainless seems to be in good shape and everything is there. This is the second time recently that I've seen the cloth seats.

The frame is going to be the main factor in determining price.

I laugh every time I see those.

Back in 2000 I was at DMC-GG and wanted my seats reupholstered in cloth. I can live with the PRV, but I hate leather. It's sticky as hell in the summer and makes you slide around while you drive. Cloth keeps you cool and grips and holds you in place. Anyhow, Don had a couple of cars in the shop with custom seats. I found this material and wanted it when I saw it in a car with a diamond pattern. We had a phone conversation later on when I gave the go ahead to upholster the seats in that material with factory stitching. He kept asking me to reconsider stating that it wasn't going to be a good combination.

When I came to pick my car up I found out that other owners had seen my car and took turns sitting in it. Many liked it and started requesting it. That and my kick panel speakers and dashboard tweeters.

That cloth will make any DeLorean seat plush. I just sink right into mine, and have had some road trips where I've just kicked back and slept like the dead.
